چکیده
Alliance among nature and medicine As said by Aristotle (384 BC-322 B.C.), Nature favors utilities and, therefore, when a RHVD occurs, it is the natural heart plasticity, held as Adaptation for Beneficial Cardiac Ontological Remodeling (AB-COR), or simply heart remodeling1, that sustains the preservation of good ejection performance. Medicine validates AB-COR "therapeutic" effect and advises against interruption with the use of drugs, plastic surgeries, and valvular prosthesis while the patient remains asymptomatic, i.e. myocardium is then signaled2 and is under active surveillance. It is known the participation of this "therapeutic of Nature" in algorithms of guidelines on valvopathy3 using intersection Symptoms? But such "therapeutic" of Nature has an expiry date and, when AB-COR utility is over4, surviving RHVD requires the administration of technoscience of Medicine.

Abstract The balance between patient autonomy and medical paternalism must be reexamined. The tension between autonomy and paternalism is both an ethical and practical issue. Autonomy is the current gold standard approach to patient communication and has grown to the point that patient preference dictates care, even when their choices are not possible or are medically nonbeneficial. Furthermore...

متن کاملMedical Paternalism and Patient Autonomy; the dualism doctors contend with..
421 Medical practitioners are beginning to realise that conflict between medical paternalism and patient autonomy would arise if they continue to uphold this dualism as distinct in all circumstances of medical practice. Information about an intended medical procedure or clinical research involving humans needs to be comprehensively transmitted so that the client can make a rational decision to ...
متن کامل1 Are Bans on Kidney Sales
This paper challenges the view that bans on kidney sales are unjustifiably paternalistic, that is, that they unduly deny people the freedom to make decisions about their own bodies in order to protect them from harm. I argue that not even principled anti-paternalists should reject such bans. This is because their rationale is not hard paternalism, which anti-paternalists repudiate, but soft pat...
